ootd: floral [graphic, girly, and boho]

 graphic- today was just a graphic sort of day. tshirt: target, pants: urban outfitters, shoes: forever 21

 

I got these pants a while ago during one of the crazy sales at urban and ended up paying $45 for these and another pair combined. the best deal I've ever managed to get. this being said, keep your eyes peeled for urban's sales because they're usually great.

I've decided what makes a good top/skirt pair is




when people say "molly, I love your dress!" I got
that a few times with this outfit so I've decided it's a good one. this picture is awkward because it was right at that time of day when the sun is awkwardly out and it's bright enough to make squinty eyes and dim enough to create shadows. a girl can never win.

it has the crochet overlay with a little cinch at the waist and a matching sewn-in cami that

allows for a cool contrast with your bare chest and the crochet. it's comfy, lightweight, and the color is so great. good job, urban.

ootd: floral and a little edgy ft. topshop

 

i wore this outfit w/a maxi skirt from american apparel so that i would be in dress code for school but it was hot when i got home. top: topshop, shorts: old navy, necklace: francesca's, shoes: forever 21

 

[also our wifi was out for a few days last week and i realized how much i rely on wifi. god bless america and the internet for the wifi being back. portlandia s3 on netflix, anyone?]

 

dress: topshop (my stepmom picked it out and it's so unlike me but it fits so well that i had to get it!), cheetah belt: macy's, fake converse: a hand-me-down from target a long time ago!

this outfit was probably one of the most edgy outfits i've ever worn and i really liked it.

 

 

 

some of the drinks i've been loving- left: steaz iced peach green tea. this can is 80 calories and lasts me several hours and it's so good. i tried the green tea + lemonade type and i didn't like it as much but i know they have many other flavors and i usually get them at whole foods. right: iced pumpkin spice latte with soy milk. starbucks has brought out the pumpkin spice so it's obviously fall! (although i could hang onto bright colors and florals for a little longer) this drink is so good and lasts me all day because i rotate sips with a bottle of water.

ootd: first week of school

so sorry for how long it's been, everyone! i started summer band in august and then my pneumonia came back again last week so i've been busy and sick and stretched thin in all directions. new school year means new outfits and a new molly that's going to try harder this year (maybe my blog will hold me accountable)

first day! navy peter pan collar top: target (i cut the sleeves off!), orange skirt: h&m

my (not so) little sophomore grace anne is the cutest thing ever. also, the texture of this skirt is killer. i probably stared at it for 40% of the day.

cardigan: american eagle, top: nordstrom, jeggings: gap, shoes: sperry's/chacos

 photo shoot with my mama and she grabbed all of these candid, silly, ridiculous, completely molly shots. glad she's now inducted into the blog's hall of photographers! (that's not real, i made that up)

 

 name a time and place when i haven't taken silly selfies and you'll win a million doll hairs. (<-name that tv show)

came home today to a bouquet of orange sunflowers from my dad and stepmom! they sent a card with it hoping that i had a good first day at school (they're in miami for the next few months.) not only is orange my favorite color but sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. i'm super obsessed with this picture, too. so cool to come home after a frustrating day to something so beautiful. also i started senior year yesterday. that feels so weird to say. i honestly remember the first day of freshman year, how am i already a senior?
